Laurier Snapshot: Girls Belong Here

Charlotte Peng (left), a Grade 12 student from Wolfville, Nova Scotia, served as Laurier’s president and vice-chancellor for a day in October as part of Plan International Canada’s Girls Belong Here campaign, designed to inspire young women to pursue positions of leadership. As well as taking part in discussions and meetings across the university, Peng toured Laurier’s synthetic cadavers lab with President Deborah MacLatchy (centre) and lab coordinator Kristen McFall.
