Jeremy Auger (M.Sc. '12) has been appointed to the federal government’s Future Skills Council. The Council will provide advice on skills development and training priorities. Auger currently serves as chief strategy officer at Kitchener-based technology company D2L.
Laurier alumnus Niki Budalic (MBA '03) has been named director of soccer operations for David Beckham's expansion Major League Soccer (MLS) team, Inter Miami. Budalic was previously general manager of soccer operations for Orlando City of the MLS and the National Women's Soccer League's Orlando Pride.
Lisa Darling (BA '92) has been named detachment commander of the Peterborough County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). Darling first began her career with the OPP in 1995 and previously served as a detachment commander in Northumberland County.

Corporate Knights named Devon Fernandes (MA '18) to its 2018 Top 30 Under 30 in Sustainability list. Fernandes is co-founder of the Kitchener-Waterloo Library of Things, a space where community members can borrow infrequently used items such as tools, kitchen items and camping equipment.
Laura Fini (BBA '01) was recently named to Mass Transit Magazine's Top 40 Under 40. Fini currently serves as managing director at global professional services company Accenture.
Odette Fraser (BA '10) has joined the Toronto insurance litigation firm Dutton Brock LLP as an associate. Fraser joined the firm after three years practising insurance defence law, most recently as in-house defence counsel with a Canadian insurance company.
Andrea S. Freeborough (BBA '97) has been appointed chief financial officer of Kinross Gold Corporation. Freeborough first joined Kinross in 2009 and took up her new position with the company on May 1.
Emmie Fukuchi (BBA '94) has been appointed executive vice-president and chief digital and marketing officer with The Co-operators. Fukuchi joins the organization from Great-West Lifeco, where she was senior vice-president of customer experience and marketing for the company's three life insurance brands.
