Making Space for Music

Campaign aims to renovate and expand Waterloo campus music building

Every day, Laurier’s music students, faculty and alumni make a difference in their communities through the power of music.

Laurier’s Faculty of Music is internationally known and its innovative programming attracts Canada’s top students and teachers. But to remain competitive, the faculty needs a home that not only reflects the quality of the music that lives within it, but that truly supports and develops Laurier’s talent and prepares students to make a meaningful impact after graduation.

This spring, Laurier is kicking off its Making Space for Music campaign to renovate and expand the Waterloo campus music building, transforming it into an improved space for teaching, practising, rehearsing and performing.

Music’s new home will not only be a special learning environment for students, faculty, alumni and members of the music community, it will also create a light-filled, dramatic new gateway to Laurier’s Waterloo campus.
